Eating Raw: What are the benefits?

Fad diets and quick ways to loose weight are all over the media. Eating raw food is not a fad or a recent trend.
Raw food is simply uncooked food, or anything dehydrated under 120 degrees. The body actually attacks food that is cooked. Isn't that crazy? Your body only accepts raw food. Probably because cooked food loses all its nutrients, leaving a minimal amount for your body to absorb. Raw foods are usually extremely healthy too. They include: fruits, veggies, nuts, seeds, etc.
Another pretty awesome thing about raw food is: you are naturally fueling your body. There really is no reason to take vitamins, supplements, drugs, or anti-biotics, when you are on a mostly raw diet. The food you eat cures your illness. In fact, there is research done about a raw diet with a link to cure caner (Food Inc.)! How many people know that? Ummm, like 1 percent of the population.
So, I encourage you to eat at least 60 percent raw. It leaves you rejuvenated, feeling confident, more energized, and of course healthy. Food was created as fuel, not for comfort.
   You are What You Eat!!
Check out Food Inc. This movie will fully explain the raw diet along with the benefits. It also exposes what is wrong with the current food industry. All the animals are loaded up with hormones, food, and unnatural things. We have been contaminating our meat and crops so badly, that the current state is comparable to the jungle. If you have never heard of it, the book describes the meat packing industry before it was regulated, exposing horrifying conditions. The actual conditions today are harmful to most workers in the meat industry. What does that say about the animals?
I will keep you updated on current issues, food tips, health tips, and regulations in this area. So keep checking back here!
